Bipartisan Reductions in Air Pollution Since 1980

Many perceive that environmental conditions are always getting worse. Contrary to this belief, air pollution statistics since 1980 on the major pollutants monitored by the EPA effectively indicate that air pollution nationally has reduced in each of the categories measured since 1980. The improvements in air quality appear to be non-partisan, occurring during both Republican and Democratic regimes.
