The Most Visited National Park Sites could be Operationally Self Sufficient with Visitor Fees of Less than $12 per Day.

There are 35 NPS sites that are visited by more than 2 million people annually. These parks could cover their entire operational budget with per person fees ranging from $0.17 to $11.36 per day. That is less than the price of a movie and popcorn.
